For those of you who don't know.. my laptop was stolen 2 months ago. The good news is I have a new one courtesy of my brother. the other good news is I found a backup of all my stuff as of december 2008, which means I just lost pictures and documents created in spring 2009. It is very frustrating, though, and I am still very pissed about the loss. seriously... the amount of stress it put me through.. I would gladly shoot whoever did it. in other news, I have a month of employment left here in the lovely eldorado forest. Work has become office stuff, therefore rather boring. but it is money so... yeah. Had a good visit at home this weekend. helped butcher meat chickens, learned how to make jam (made some gooseberry jam!) and drove 3 wheelers all over the mountain. I am concerned, though, that hunting season in mendocino might be limited, because of the amount of pot cultivation up there. kinda sad, really. Mare is back in susanville, which makes me bummed. harder to visit her when she is 4 hours away, rather than 50 minutes. maybe I will get some doodles on here. at least they didn't steal my scanner or tablet.
